Pak Mat Western start from a small restaurant first located at Bukit Minyak, Pulau Pinang. In the beginning, not many people knew about Pak Mat Western's existence. The start of this small business did not expect to be able to capture the appetite of customers around Bukit Minyak to the point that it was able to make many customers from outside Penang to also come. Due to the overwhelming response, Pak Mat Western began to expand with a second restaurant located in the south of the country, Kulai, Johor. These two restaurants give Pak Mat Western a strong reason to open more branches in Alor Setar, Kedah and Ipoh, Perak. Pak Mat Western has also thought of the best initiative for those who are far away to taste the frozen 'homemade' products that have been sold since 2020.
